BACK TO FLIGHT COURSES Description
A Night VFR rating allows a pilot to operate the types
of aircraft that they are endorsed on, after last light in visual
meteorological conditions.
Minimum Requirements to Undertake a Flight
Instructor Rating
The minimum requirement to undertake a Night VFR
rating is a Private Pilot License.
Time Commitment for Course Completion
The Night VFR rating takes approximately 10 hours.
Note that the Bruce Hartwig Flying School undertakes Night VFR training between the end of March and the start of October due to the limitations of daylight saving. Costs
